Melting a wax melt is different from burning a candle. The wax is only heated and liquefied; it does not disappear because the wax is not being burned. Instead, the fragrance oils gradually evaporate, releasing their scent into the air. Once the fragrance fades or disappears, replace a fresh wax melt.

- Let the wax cool down before touching or moving the burner to avoid severe burns.
- Do not add water or ambient oils to your wax melts, as this causes volatile splattering.
